💡 How Often Should You Do This?
Review beneficiaries annually and after any major life event: marriage, divorce, birth of a child, death of a beneficiary, or major career change. Beneficiary designations on accounts like 401(k)s and life insurance override your will — so even a perfect will can't fix an outdated beneficiary form.
